I was born in London and have been a professional photographer since 1986. Completely self-taught, I began shooting local news stories and quickly rose to shooting global news, fashion, sport and features for the national newspapers. In the mid-90s my attention turned to portraiture for magazines, where I shot hundreds of celebrities and was often requested by rock stars, royalty and Hollywood actors.
This period culminated in my work being exhibited in galleries including The National Portrait Gallery in London where 5 of my portraits are still part of the collection.
I've been published in many titles across Europe including: Condé Naste Publications, NME, Tattler, GQ and The Times as well as shooting celebrity book covers. I've also given a number of recent interviews to publications including NPhoto, Ibiza Style and Turning Pro magazine and has appeared on Channel 4 TV giving my view on photography.
For the last 15 years I have lived in Lymington with my wife Tricia and have turned my love of the still image towards photographing a diverse number of subjects. To find out more about me read the interview I gave to Hampshire Life.
